Lok Sabha Election 2019 Schedule April 11 – May 19, Results on May 23

The Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha 2019 election. The elections will be held for 543 seats of the Lok Sabha on approximately 10 lakh polling booths across the country. VVPAT, paper trail in all polling stations.

Elections to be held in seven phases. April 11, April 18, April 23, April 29, May 6, May 12 and May 19 are the dates of polling.

  1. 91 seats in Phase I in 20 states,
  2. 97 seats Phase II in 13 states,
  3. 115 seats in Phase III in 14 states,
  4. 71 seats in Phase IV in 9 states,
  5. 51 seats in Phase V in 7 states,
  6. 59 seats in Phase VI in 7 seats,
  7. 59 seats in Phase VII in 8 states.

The results will be declared on May 23.

Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab, Sikkim, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Andaman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu will be held in a single phase. States undergoing elections in 2 phases are Karnataka, Manipur, Rajasthan, Tripura; states going in 3 phases are Assam, Chhattisgarh; states going to polls in 4 phases are Jharkhand, M.P, Maharashtra, Odisha and states going to polls in 7 phases are Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal.
